POP and POS Meaning
POP stands for Point of Purchase, the in-store displays and advertising used to promote products. It is also known as POS (Point of Sale) and POSM.
In the world of marketing, it is commonly associated with POP and POS Materials (often called POSM): the displays and other marketing materials used to showcase products in store, capturing customers' attention, highlighting products or offers, and encouraging impulse buying.
