Woodprint

Printing directly on wood with HP Latex

Woodprint is our technique for digital printing directly on wood: the brand's artwork is printed onto the grain, with no vinyl and no laminates. We were the first in Spain to bring the HP Latex R1000 into POS display manufacturing, using certified water-based inks.

The result pairs the warmth and touch of real wood with faithful graphic reproduction, and removes plastics from the finish. Brands like Rubson and Segura Viudas already have it at the point of sale.

Why wood

The material premium brands put on the shelf

Wood signals quality before the customer touches the product. These are the three reasons that weigh most in the briefs we receive.

Brand perception

Perfumery, cosmetics and wine choose it because the stand speaks the product's language: natural, warm and durable. In pharmacy, the shift from plastic to wood has been accelerating for years.

Real durability

A well-built wooden display takes years of in-store rotation. In permanent POS, its cost per month of life usually beats cheaper materials.

Auditable sustainability

Certified boards, water-based inks and solar-powered production. If your brand audits the chain, the paperwork is in order.

Personalisation

Wooden displays with your logo

The logo can be Woodprint-printed, screen-printed, milled into the board itself or applied in relief. Each technique has its moment: milling for a subtle presence, direct printing for full-colour artwork, relief for counter fronts.

We work from the brand guide: typefaces, Pantones and finishes are validated on a physical mock-up in our showroom before the run goes to production.

Formats and minimums

From counter base to floor-standing unit

We make wooden floor displays, counter displays, cases and made-to-measure POS furniture. Our structure is built for brand runs and multi-store rollouts, not one-off pieces.

Floor displays

Floor-standing units and furniture for a permanent presence. From 100 units.

Counter displays

Bases, glorifiers and counter-top displays. From 200 units.

Cases and custom furniture

Singular projects combining wood with metal, acrylic or lighting.

Solid wood or MDF

Looking for lacquered MDF?

A good share of wooden displays are actually built in MDF: more stable, more economical at volume and perfect for lacquer. It has a page of its own. See MDF displays

Frequently asked questions

What we get asked about wooden displays

Solid wood or MDF?
It depends on finish and run size. Solid wood brings real grain and premium presence for short series; MDF is more stable and efficient in large runs, and takes a flawless lacquer. We compare them in detail on the MDF displays page.
Can you print our logo or artwork directly on the wood?
Yes. With Woodprint we print the artwork directly onto the board with HP Latex water-based inks; we also screen-print and mill logos. Colour and finish are validated on a mock-up before the run.
What is the minimum order and lead time?
From 100 units for floor displays and 200 for counter displays. The usual lead time is two to three months from design approval, depending on complexity and volume.
What drives the price of a wooden display?
The format (floor or counter), the type of board, the finish (lacquer, veneer, direct print), the extras (lighting, acrylic) and the run size. The more specific the brief, the sharper the quote: send volume and timeline.
